4 août 2023 · DIY: PCM4.0 CarPlay/Android Auto Activation + Map Updates. I think this deserves its own thread. I don’t own a Macan with PCM4.0 (mine is PCM3.1), but my 2018 718 does have PCM4.0 and I was able to activate CarPlay using this DIY in the first 3 hours of ownership…. I was also able to update the Navi Map to 2022 version.

Both sports cars (and their 6 cylinders or performance) should remain something special. The Macan S would have put them both in the shade, but we wanted a Daily as a Porsche, so it became the T. 7 août 2024 · Engine Mount Replacement - DIY. Beginning of the year, I started to feel a lot more engine vibrations coming into the cabin. It quickly escalated in two months to my car feeling like an 80's pickup truck! Certainly not in character with a fine German sports SUV. May would be here in August, June in Sept - a lot quicker than my first build ~6 months. They still have builds available, so my decision if I want one (likely).

14 août 2016 · On 18/10/2017 with 1300 miles on the clock, it all went wrong. Travelling at approx 50mph with a friend on board, the dashboard lit up with warnings and flashed “Possible R gear fault driving permitted” then “Engine control fault consult dealer driving permitted” except driving was impossible.
22 nov. 2022 · Use the zip tie method (gotta be a long one at least 12" or longer). Pull the fabric liner down enough from the back to have some room to push the zip tie into the bottom opening of the rubber grommet. Also, pop the rear top plastic trim on the rear hatch enough to see inside and work.
