If it was really random it should take a month after the registration to completely exclude the people who miss some information to put in the registration then select the winners randomly this operation will take a month or less not 7, i think they treat every person info and select the winners ...

24 sept. 2020 · I am still trying to learn how the Diversity Green Card Lottery works in practice. Here's what I've learned so far: If you win the lottery then you are eligible to submit your I-485, Adjustment of Status (AOS). If that is accepted then you have essentially gotten a green card.

You don't need any application pending when you apply for the DV. What you need is to apply and get through the GC process AFTER you are selected and if you don't apply after being selected then you won't get a GC, that's all. So I am sorry but I call bullshit ...

6 nov. 2023 · What the diversity lottery does is open up opportunities. And since they were able to get citizenship, they still have a big opportunity in their future they can try for again, with better preparation. I'm also a DV winner, so that's my opinion of it.

They will have to consular process it the visa because you cannot adjust status from DACA. That means leaving the United States for a diversity immigrant visa interview at the US embassy in the person’s home country ...
