Credit Agicole have an English speaker at their branches. Don't know about Credit Mutuel. It's a bit like the phone companies. Orange are the only company that have an English speaking line. Don't know which bank you're with, but in amongst the ream of paper I got when I opened an account with Credit Agricole is a list of withdrawal limits. I can withdraw 450 euros in a 7 day period from CA banks, or 300 from other banks, I can pay for a maximum of 2300 euros on my card in a 7 day period.
