31 mai 2011 · 80317 posts · Joined 2006. #1 · May 31, 2011 (Edited) The Berlin City Palace or Berlin Palace (Berliner Stadtschloss aka Berliner Schloss in German) is (partly) getting reconstructed. It's scheduled to be finished and opened as the world cultural museum "Humboldt Forum" in late 2019. Interiors can and will be reconstructed later on, year by year.

In this hopefully prosperous thread we will see and talk about the recovery of downtown center. Recovery from the last war to failed city planning's and plain wrong designs of the 1960`s and so on.
31 mars 2013 · Complimenting the existing Estrel Hotel, the largest in Germany, a new hotel tower and conference center will establish a new gateway to the center of Berlin from the soon to be completed Schönefeld International Airport. The tower at 175 meters (578 feet) will be the tallest high-rise in Berlin to date.

Think about it, a city with such an incredible amount of history, and the thing you see the most on the horizon are those things. Jindra Čejka Zaz965 Darryl.
14 sept. 2021 · The tower was topic of a meeting of the Berlin construction committee on monday. The overall planning should be completed and the building application is now beeing prepared and should be granted within this year. Covivio is planning to start the construction later this year and to finish in 2023.
3 mars 2006 · 2. Compact arena including track. 3. Elegant roof with minimal visual obstruction. is remarkable. Just for the sake of this stadium, I would prefer Berlin hosting the 2024 SOG. Germany 2006 had some awesome stadiums but Berlin OS stands out in the pack and way too better than Alliance Arena also - This is my opinion.

Vor fast zwei Jahren waren die Pläne wegen der Einwände der Senatsverwaltung für Stadtentwicklung zurückgezogen worden.
2 août 2018 · Here a picture from the construction in 1877: same location today. In 1910, the colonnades seen here were closed by walls to be used by stonemasons for maintenance of statues. This shortage of space has now been fixed and the colonnades open for traffic: This part was used as interior space.
10 mai 2011 · Wunderknabe. Berlin has 157 Buildings of 50 m or more and 342 of 40 m or more (thats more than Frankfurt). I think another reason for so few highrises or scrapers in Berlin (and Germany in general) is the costs of construction. For the money of one 100 m highrise in germany, you could get maybe 10 or 20 in China.
