22 mars 2019 · I have a use case - had to ship a replacement Synology to my Dad's house for my remote backups. Up and running but somewhere along the way, his router got reset so I don't have port forwarding. I can connect remotely to the desktop but can't access the router to set up port forwarding without a browser. He's not tech savvy and we're in lockdown....

2 sept. 2019 · I am new on the forum, I own a Synology NAS 218+ and 4 ring spotlight cameras. I was wondering if Ring surveillance cameras are compactible with my nas. If not is anybody tried to get round of it? I am fed up paying ring for cloud storage I feel cheated as I have my own cloud. Please help?

Before installing Synology Photos I still got the hope that Synology built in searching for duplicate photo's. I see unfortunately Treesize Pro is not available for Mac. 15 juin 2020 · Multiple NAS (DS218+) on same network. As part of the coronavirus enforced changes to offices and the need for working from home, I now have two DS218+ at home connected to my home network. They previously were in separate offices from 2 distinct organisations yet essentially offering the same file services to their staff.

30 mai 2020 · I have found and downloaded the Synology MIB Guide, which describes the process of importing the MIBs into PRTG on page 16, but doesn't mention where those .mib files can be obtained. I found this MIB repository which includes most of them, but the set is incomplete and the files date from 2013, so I'm not sure if they include some of the more recently-added sensors.
9 mai 2017 · I suppose it can by done in 2 ways: 1. Alter the name of the NAS to your domain name, and hope that the DHCP and DNS resolves the name to the internal IP; (not sure) 2. In your internal DNS server make a master zone with the domain name and give the A record the internal IP of NAS, (it worked with me) M.

I doubt the possibility is going to be revealed.
