Delloreese Patricia Early (July 6, 1931 – November 19, 2017), known professionally as Della Reese, was an American jazz and gospel singer, actress, and ordained minister whose career spanned seven decades.
Née le 6 juillet 1931 à Detroit, Della Reese est une actrice et chanteuse américaine. Elle débute sa carrière à la fin des années 50 mais c’est dès l’âge de six ans qu’elle chante dans la chorale de son église. En 1944, elle est contacté pour chanter au sein du groupe de gospel de Mahalia Jackson.
