24 mars 2020 · The video recording is timed to 1minute which makes it hard because it's just 60sec to explain sth. Just prepare normally like how you should prepare for an in-person interview but the annoying thing here is that you aren't given enough time and you can't really engage with a camera like how you would with a person.
Anji123. Hello i just recently applied with aldi. I applied in sept 2018. Got an email with in 2/3 days that i have been successful with the first stage and they would like me to attend an assessment day. Booked one online which said its going to be individual. I googled up to see other people's experiences.
1. I attended a Aldi Experience day last week and four days later they informed me I didn't get the job. What I don't understand is, why put me through 3 stages of the application (online assessment, interview and Aldi Experience) then not give me the job when they basically made out I would be successful.
Good luck! The assessment is for a store assistant. It only lasts 15 minutes. I think the maths test etc are for the area manager roles. Update: The interview was because my video interview didn't go through onto the system so they decided to invite me in instead.
I went to a Aldi experience this Monday and it's really ok. About 30 minutes was spent doing health and safety stuff, nothing too interesting. We also had to talk a little about ourselves (there were 2 others doing their Aldi experience with me), but it was a really nice atmosphere, nice and chilled out.

Aha! Thanks-even when I rang customer care up at work they said I could only use discount by placing an order through tills. I've put my number on now but I rang them up again and apparently double discount doesn't work on the internet-so maybe that's what the customer care person meant.
