Those ethnicity estimates, are just that, an estimate, and a very rough one at that, and are compared to a small database of others who have an alleged ancestry paper trail from specific regions.

My ancestor is Lementina Smith born about 1820 (using age at time of death), marriage cert just said of full age! If going by census records she was born anywhere from 1817-1822 and she was born in Bruntingthorpe or Peatling. She married in Barrowden and her marriage cert said that's where she was living at the time, and her father was Sam Smith.
