Speedway is the seventeenth soundtrack album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released by RCA Victor in mono and stereo, LPM/LSP 3989, on June 25, 1968. [2] It serves as the soundtrack album for the 1968 film Speedway starring Presley.
Speedway: Directed by Norman Taurog. With Elvis Presley, Nancy Sinatra, Bill Bixby, Gale Gordon. Poor bookkeeping saddles stock-car driver Steve Grayson with a huge bill for back taxes which hampers his ability to continue racing competitively.

Nancy Sinatra was an asset. 1966-68 were busy years for Nancy Sinatra … as well as having major hit records, she was Elvis Presley’s co-star in Speedway (released to screen in 1968). She had been assigned to greet Elvis on his return from the army back in 1960, bearing gifts from her dad.
