Alter Ego is the fourth studio album by American singer Tyrese. It was released on December 12, 2006 through J Records. The album was formatted as a double album. The production on the album was handled by multiple producers including Mannie Fresh, Lil Jon, Scott Storch, R. Kelly, Tricky Stewart and Bryan-Michael Cox among others.

The double album featured one disc of R&B tracks and another disc of rap tracks, showcasing his versatility and talent in both genres. Gibson was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album for his fifth album, Open Invitation (2011).
