La Confédération européenne des syndicats ou CES (en anglais : European Trade Union Confederation ou ETUC) regroupe la plupart des organisations syndicales européennes. Elle représente les intérêts des travailleurs auprès des institutions de l'Union européenne.

The ETUC was set up in 1973 when it became clear that unions in Europe needed a democratic structure to enable them to express a united position on behalf of workers. It now comprises 89 national trade union confederations in 39 countries, plus 10 European trade union federations.
The European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) is the major trade union organisation representing workers at the European level. In its role as a European social partner, the ETUC works both in a consulting role with the European Commission and negotiates agreements and work programmes with European employers .
