Eton offers high quality support to boys applying to university, including Oxbridge, US and global universities. The vast majority of Etonians go on to higher education, with roughly one third of leavers doing so after a gap year.

It is crucial that boys enjoy their studies, thrive and have fun, rather than leave feeling burnt out and disengaged. Our academic curriculum is broad. With 28 subjects on offer, including 10 modern and classical languages, every boy has the best opportunity to discover his passion.
2020. Our 57 leavers joined the following senior schools: Westminster: 44 Eton: 10 Winchester: 3. Common Entrance exams were suspended due to the pandemic. 10 boys moved from WUS to Eton College, one with a King’s Scholarship and 3 boys moved to Winchester College.
University Destinations 2023 Westminster pupils apply successfully to top universities, both nationally and internationally. In 2023, 65 pupils took up places at Oxford and Cambridge; 23 pupils went on to study in the US and five in Europe.
