However, the relaunch was instead postponed indefinitely in view of more stringent European Union emissions and safety regulations. They effectively withdrew from Europe end of 2012 - the cars sold in 2013/14 were just old stock disposals.

Car prices are a bit silly right now by all accounts, so it might be worth more than the £300 you paid for it. The other side of that coin is that a replacement will also cost more.

Everyone has their own idea of what makes (and doesn't make) a classic car, and without digging out the Oxford English Dictionary, we think the Proton saloon and Aeroback qualify. For starters, a new manufacturer rocking up to the UK and selling a load of cars straight off the bat is not to be sniffed at.
Good: Its a very comfortable car to drive, the most comfortable seats in the class IMO. Very capable handling and soaks up bumps far better than the Aygo/C1/107 + i10. Performance is surprisingly good as it has a variable intake system that provides cheeky vtec-esque performance past 4000 rpm, great fun down B roads.
26 août 2012 · I have a Proton Jumbuck that now has a statring problem. The key fob fell apart and after putting it back together it now won't start. If you turn key to the start position you just hear the fuel pump. Occasionally it tries to start but as soon as it goes to start it just cuts out.
