The free version of Nexus, if that is what you are using, only supports one dock. On the paid versions (Nexus Ultimate and Winstep Xtreme) you can have as many docks as you want, but there is no 'automatic clone' function (e.g.; changes made to one dock automatically reflect on another). Nexus Preferences -> Position tab -> Enable 'Prevent maximized windows from overlapping the dock'. You might also want to disable the auto-hide feature in the Behavior tab if that is turned on.
You can, however, change the style of the Nexus control icon (right click the control icon -> appearance and sounds -> Control Icon Color) or disable it completely. All other items, just drop the icon (.ico,.png or .tif) image of your choice directly into the item, or right-click the item -> Properties -> Change Icon. Winstep Xtreme - Xtreme Power!
I am a free Nexus Dock user and the product is excelent, there aren't many free applications with this high quality. I just don't buy Nexus Dock Ultimate or Xtreme because i use computer for simple things, but i wouldn't have a problem to pay for it if i really needed. BTW Jorge, i'm Portuguese living in Spain. Since you're running Nexus Ultimate, I assume you're also using the Shelf (tabbed dock). So lets try to see if this is Shelf related or not: open Preferences and go to Docks & Shelves tab. Unselect the 'Enabled' check box for the Shelf and press OK. This will make the Shelf disappear and will take it out of the equation.
Nexus dock vs Objectdock.
