Sunand Tryambak Joshi (born June 22, 1958) is an American literary critic whose work has largely focused on weird and fantastic fiction, especially the life and work of H. P. Lovecraft and associated writers.
S. T. Joshi is a prolific and versatile writer on weird fiction, atheism, and race relations. He is best known for his works on H. P. Lovecraft, Ambrose Bierce, and H. L. Mencken, as well as his biography, I Am Providence.

S. T. Joshi’s Blog. July 1, 2024 — A Multiplicity of Developments. Much has happened in the past few weeks, so I’ll get right down to it. Chief among them is the arrival of proofs (in the form of a 500-page pdf) of the first volume of my history of atheism, The Downfall of God.
Joshi is the editor of the small-press literary journals Lovecraft Studies and Studies in Weird Fiction, published by Necronomicon Press. He is also the editor of Lovecraft Annual and co-editor of Dead Reckonings, both small-press journals published by Hippocampus Press.
