Odilo Globocnik ( Trieste, 21 avril 1904 – Paternion, 31 mai 1945) est un criminel génocidaire nazi, autrichien puis allemand, qui a atteint le grade de SS - Gruppenführer b und Generalleutnant der Polizei c. Il joue un rôle important lors de l’ Anschluss.

Odilo Globocnik était un important nazi autrichien et plus tard un leader SS. Né dans une famille autrichienne de descendance slovène à Trieste (qui fait partie de l’empire austro-hongrois), Odilo travailla la première fois comme agent immobilier.

After the annexation of Austria, he became Gauleiter of Vienna but soon lost his job. Supported by Himmler, he was later named Lower SS and police leader of the Lublin District.
Odilo Globocnik was born in Trieste on 21 April 1904. The son of an Austrian Croat family of petty officials and a builder by profession, he joined the Nazi Party in Carinthia, Austria in 1930 and became a ‘radical’ leader of its cells in the province.
