James Keir Hardie, né le 15 août 1856 à Newhouse ( North Lanarkshire) et mort le 26 septembre 1915 à Glasgow, est un homme politique socialiste écossais, premier travailliste élu à la Chambre des Communes, sept ans avant la conférence de fondation du Labour Party, dont il fut le premier président.
James Keir Hardie (15 August 1856 – 26 September 1915) was a Scottish trade unionist and politician. He was a founder of the Labour Party, and was its first parliamentary leader from 1906 to 1908. Hardie was born in Newhouse, Lanarkshire.
