Biography. Lt.-Col. John Pascoe Grenfell was born on 21 March 1869, the son of Pascoe du Pré Grenfell and Sophia Grenfell. [1] He married Adeline Octavia Lambart, daughter of Gustavus William Lambart and Lady Frances Caroline Maria Conyngham, on 2 August 1905. He died on 6 October 1948 at age 79. He fought in the Boer War.
