Fin 2003, elle adopte le pseudonyme El Perro del Mar et distribue ses chansons sur Internet. Elle est signée par le label indépendant suédois Hybris, qui sort sur le marché scandinave plusieurs CD-R tirés en série limitée, puis le EP 3 titres What’s new? El Perro del Mar en novembre 2004.
El Perro del Mar (literally "The Dog of the Sea" in Spanish) is a musical project that was founded in December 2003 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The sole member of El Perro del Mar, Sarah Assbring (born 1977), initially started as an MP3/CD-R artist and released her first songs through Hybris Records.
