Le groupe est formé en 2001 avec Cobra Kai et The Mugshots, et s'inspire du terme bouddhiste « kilesa mara », dénotant un état psychique délirant. Their music incorporates experimentalism with heavy riffs, drop-tuned guitars and elements of psychedelic rock. The group was established in 2001 by the former members of Damad, with the addition of guitar player Laura Pleasants who is from North Carolina.
Progressive/Psychedelic Sludge Metal. Themes: Abstract, Metaphoric, Personal struggles. Last label: Season of Mist. Years active: 2001-2016. Formed by former members of the sludge/crust band Damad. The band is also associated with Retro Futurist Records.
