Survivor est une émission de téléréalité produite dans de nombreux pays du monde. Le principe a été créé en 1992 par Charlie Parsons et diffusé la première fois en Suède en 1997 sous le nom de Expédition Robinson (en).

Formé en 1977, il est particulièrement célèbre dans les années 1980 durant lesquelles sont sortis deux tubes : Eye of the Tiger (extrait de la BOF de Rocky 3, l'œil du tigre ), et Burning Heart (extrait de la BOF de Rocky 4 ).

The American series premiered on May 31, 2000, on CBS. It is hosted by Jeff Probst, who is also an executive producer along with Mark Burnett and the original creator, Parsons. Survivor places a group of people in an isolated location, where they must provide food, fire, and shelter for themselves.
Survivor: Created by Charlie Parsons. With Jeff Probst, Rob Mariano, Parvati Shallow, Sandra Diaz-Twine. A reality show where a group of contestants are stranded in a remote location with little more than the clothes on their back. The lone survivor of this contest takes home a million dollars.
