Marc Mero. Wrestling Champion. In 1990, Marc Mero decided to become a wrestler, traveling to Tampa, Florida to train under the famous Malenko wrestling family. The following year Mero was signed by WCW and debuted the character “Johnny B. Badd” at the SuperBrawl pay-per-view on 19 May, 1991.
