Joan Wallach Scott /d͡ʒoʊn ˈwɒlək skɑt/ 1, née le 18 décembre 1941 à Brooklyn ( New York ), est une historienne américaine dont les travaux, initialement consacrés au mouvement ouvrier français, se sont orientés à partir des années 1980 vers l' histoire des femmes dans une perspective du genre.
The original members included identical twin brothers Wallace "Scotty" and Walter Scott, along with Gordy Harmon, Marcus Hutson, and Nicholas Caldwell. After being invited to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1966 by Sly Stone, the group relocated to that area where they began developing a reputation as a show-stopping live act.
