Willie West. Soul/R&B singer and musician born in 1941 and raised outside of New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A. He started his music career with the RusTone label in 1959. Since 2005, he has been living and performing in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Willie Tennyson West (born May 1, 1938) is an American football former defensive back. He played for nine seasons professionally: for the NFL St. Louis Cardinals; and for the American Football League (AFL)'s Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins.
