Cheap Trick is an American rock band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 1973 by guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, lead vocalist Robin Zander and drummer Bun E. Carlos. [a] [3] The current lineup of the band consists of Zander, Nielsen and Petersson.
Pete Comita was a guitarist who joined Cheap Trick in 1980 as a bass player after Tom Petersson left. He played 12-string bass on some songs and toured with the band for a year before quitting.
