  5. @Fred, your answer is intriguing, and I am puzzled why you think it would be "unpopular". You really ought to put more thought into this response, as it gives the impression you think Paul was just concerned about unity among the Christians, when he actually had something much greater in mind, imo. "unity with Christ and the body" puts these two unities as fairly equal in importance.
