Pam the Funkstress (born Pam Warren), DJ for The Coup, was a student of the late DJ Prince of Charm. Pam the Funkstress went on to be the last tour DJ for Prince prior to his death. Prince gave Pam the name "Purple Pam".
26 déc. 2017 · Unfortunately, on December 22, Pam the Funkstress, DJ for The Coup, passed away. She was 51. Pam underwent an organ transplant on November 18 and had been in critical condition since then. Pam joined the Coup prior to their first album, 1993's Kill My Landlord.
