Klaus Pringsheim Sr. (24 July 1883 – 7 December 1972) was a German-born composer, conductor, music-educator and the twin brother of Katharina "Katia" Pringsheim, who married Thomas Mann in 1905.

Klaus Pringsheim died of cancer on February 6, 2001, at the age of 77. His last illness was brief, and he was attended by his family. As he wrote in his autobiography, he was indeed a Man of the World.
