18 oct. 2021 · Tom Gray, who wrote the hit "Money Changes Everything" for Cyndi Lauper and the Brains, passed away after a long battle with cancer. He also played lap steel guitar and fronted the blues band Delta Moon, winning several awards and touring worldwide.
Tom Gray is a musician, campaigner and Labour activist standing for Brighton Pavilion. He founded the #BrokenRecord campaign to address the challenges facing the music industry and won the Mercury Prize with Gomez.
18 déc. 2023 · Tom Gray, who won the Mercury prize with his band Gomez in 1998, has been selected as Labour’s candidate for Brighton Pavilion at the next general election. He will challenge Green MP Caroline Lucas, who has represented the seat since 2010, and comedian Eddie Izzard, who lost out in the selection process.
