Dio est un groupe de heavy metal américain, originaire de Cortland, à New York. Il est formé en 1982 et dirigé par le chanteur Ronnie James Dio après son départ de Black Sabbath dans le but de former un nouveau groupe avec son ami Vinny Appice , également ancien membre de Black Sabbath [ 1 ] .
