22 sept. 2010 · Mark Huff is a The Dalles native who became the lead singer of Quiet Riot in 2010, after the death of Kevin DuBrow. He auditioned for the role with a Van Halen tribute band and got the blessing from DuBrow's mother to carry on the legacy of the metal band.
Huff’s first original band was the punk and British Invasion inspired Smart Bomb, which quickly gained momentum, drawing as many as 1 000 fans to the frat parties and outdoor shows they played. Huff’s talents as a singer, songwriter, and charismatic performer grew, as did his regional reputation.
Despite his previous insistence that Quiet Riot could never return as a live performing entity, Banali announced a new version of Quiet Riot in September 2010 with himself on drums, Chuck Wright on bass, Alex Grossi on guitar, and newcomer Mark Huff (formerly of the Van Halen tribute band 5150) on vocals. 16 sept. 2017 · Mark Huff, who replaced Kevin DuBrow in QUIET RIOT, calls the band's music "shit" and accuses Frankie Banali of being a "karaoke hater". He also claims he can play drums better than Banali and that he was fired without being told.
