Below are the replaced parts listed on my invoice. 68525334AB Gear - Rack and Pinion. 6506557AA Nut - hex lock (qty 2) 6503210 - Screw - hex flange head. Given age and miles, OP may consider a remanufactured rack at half the cost of new. I found this one with a quick search. I know nothing about them.

To date there have been over a dozen engine failures reported by forum members (failed head gaskets leading to coolant in the cylinders leading to misfires; some have cracked blocks).

Read a lot about this and seems the issue is likely a blocked Evap drain hose. I have ordered some foam cleaner but need to know where to find the drain. I have seen some pictures but still am none the wiser.

24 juin 2017 · The rear passenger requires removing the wheel. 3 bolts out, position flap, and 3 bolts in, plastic pop rivet in. There is a 4th inner hole that requires drilling a 5/16 hole through the predrilled hole in the flap (red circle in the pic) and into the felt. The drilling is in felt only, no metal or plastic.
