Tommy Hall (born 1942 or 1943) is an electric jug player from Texas. He was a founding member of the American psychedelic rock band the 13th Floor Elevators.
The original 13th Floor Elevators line-up was built around singer/guitarist Roky Erickson, electric jugplayer Tommy Hall, and guitarist Stacy Sutherland. The rhythm section went through several changes, with drummer John Ike Walton and bass player Ronnie Leatherman being replaced in July 1967.
Après une tournée à San Francisco, les 13th Floor Elevators regagnent le Texas. En proie à diverses tensions internes, notamment dues à l'utilisation de drogues non-hallucinogènes ( speed, héroïne …) répudiées par Tommy Hall, le groupe se sépare.
