Eleanor Barooshian (April 2, 1950 – August 30, 2016), also known as Eleanor Baruchian and as Chelsea Lee, was a member of the band the Cake (formed in New York in 1966).
The Cake was a 1960s girl group consisting of Jeanette Jacobs, Barbara Morillo and Eleanor Barooshian. They were managed and produced by Charles Greene and Brian Stone, two Sunset Strip impresarios who also managed Sonny & Cher, Buffalo Springfield and Iron Butterfly.

22 sept. 2016 · Eleanor Barooshian was one of the three teenage girls who formed The Cake, a baroque girl group that wrote and sang their own songs in the 60s. She passed away on August 30th, according to an obituary in the Guardian.

Formed in 1966, the Cake were Eleanor Barooshian, Jeanette Jacobs, and Barbara Morillo. Jacobs and Morillo were already performing as an a cappella duo, and met Barooshian when both were scheduled at The Scene, the legendary rock club in Greenwich Village.
