L’université technique de Riga (en letton : Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte) est un établissement public d'enseignement supérieur situé à Riga , fondé en 1958. Le bâtiment principal se trouve à Kaļķu iela 1. Elle possède des antennes à Cēsis, Daugavpils, Liepāja et Ventspils.
RTU is a modern internationally recognized university. It is the only polytechnic university in Latvia and the largest university in the country – it educates and trains almost 15 thousand students.
RTU offers a wide range of study programmes at college, bachelor's, master's and doctoral level, providing the largest number of state-funded study places in Latvia. Study work is organised at four faculties and one institute in Riga, as well as at regional centres in Cēsis, Daugavpils, Liepāja and Ventspils.
