Lars Reinhold Schmidt (11 June 1917 – 18 October 2009) was a Swedish theatrical producer, director and publisher. He owned theaters in Paris, France, and Sweden. Schmidt was instrumental in bringing American theater to the European stage.

Lars Schmidt was born on 11 June 1917 in Gothenburg, Västra Götalands län, Sweden. He was a producer and writer, known for ABC Stage 67 (1966), Twenty-Four Hours in a Woman's Life (1961) and C'est encore mieux l'après-midi (1989). He was married to Yanne Noorup, Kristina Belfrage and Ingrid Bergman.
