Princess Maria Karoline of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha ( German: Maria Karoline Philomena Ignatia Pauline Josepha Michaela Gabriela Raphaela Gonzaga Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha; 10 January 1899 – 6 June 1941) was a German princess from the Brazilian branch of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha-Koháry.
La princesse Marie Caroline est la seconde fille et la troisième des huit enfants du prince Auguste de Saxe-Cobourg-Gotha (1867-1922) et de son épouse l'archiduchesse Caroline de Toscane (1869-1945), mariés en 1894 1. Elle appartient à la branche dite « brésilienne » de sa famille 2 .
Karoline married Prince August Leopold of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, second eldest son of Prince Ludwig August of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and his wife Princess Leopoldina of Brazil, on 30 May 1894 in Vienna.
