Princess Maria Karoline of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (German: Maria Karoline Philomena Ignatia Pauline Josepha Michaela Gabriela Raphaela Gonzaga Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha; 10 January 1899 – 6 June 1941) was a German princess from the Brazilian branch of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha-Koháry.
Famille. La princesse Marie Caroline est la seconde fille et la troisième des huit enfants du prince Auguste de Saxe-Cobourg-Gotha (1867-1922) et de son épouse l'archiduchesse Caroline de Toscane (1869-1945), mariés en 1894 1. Elle appartient à la branche dite « brésilienne » de sa famille 2 .
Karoline married Prince August Leopold of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, second eldest son of Prince Ludwig August of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and his wife Princess Leopoldina of Brazil, on 30 May 1894 in Vienna.

She had learning difficulties. In 1938 her family decided to place her in an institution. She was killed at the Hartheim killing centre as part of the Nazi Aktion T4 program.
