Never Let Me Down. Sortie : août 1987. modifier. Never Let Me Down est le dix-septième album studio de l'artiste britannique David Bowie paru le 20 avril 1987 via EMI America Records. Après une série de projets divers, Bowie espérait faire son prochain disque différemment à la suite de l'échec critique de Tonight (1984).
"Never Let Me Down" was written by the singer himself and Carlos Alomar, while production was handled by Bowie along with David Richards. The lyrics are about Bowie's relationship with his longtime personal assistant, Coco Schwab.
In 1987, Alomar played on Bowie's album Never Let Me Down; the album's title track – released as a single and credited to Bowie/Alomar – was originally an Alomar composition entitled "I'm Tired," before it was re-written by Bowie.

Co-produced by Bowie and David Richards and featuring guitarist Peter Frampton, the album was recorded in Switzerland and New York City from September to November 1986.
