Craig Clinton Chaquico (or Chaquiço, / tʃ ə ˈ k iː s oʊ / chə-KEE-soh; born September 26, 1954) is an American guitarist, songwriter, and composer. From 1974 to 1990 he was lead guitarist for the rock bands Jefferson Starship and Starship. In 1993, he started a solo career as an acoustic jazz guitarist and composer.
Biographie. Craig Chaquico fait la connaissance des membres de Jefferson Airplane à San Francisco au début des années 1970, alors qu'il n'a que quinze ans. Il rejoint le groupe Jefferson Starship en 1974 et participe à tous les albums du groupe jusqu'à son départ, en 1990.
