Quax in Africa (German: Quax in Afrika) is a German comedy adventure film produced from 1943–1944 and released in 1947, directed by Helmut Weiss and starring Heinz Rühmann, Hertha Feiler, and Lothar Firmans. It is a sequel to the 1941 film Quax the Crash Pilot.
Quax in Africa. An unbelievably light-hearted comedy with music, pretty girls and quite a many laughs. This film was shot during 1943 as a sequel to the first "Quax" film, passed censorship in February 1945, but wasn't shown in Germany until ten years after being shot.

Quax in Afrika plot Pilot Otto Groschenbügel, who used to be known as "Quax the chunk pilot", has grown into a seasoned pilot and is now a flying teacher at the Fliegerhorst. Although Quax is actually a nice person, he is a true dictator to his students.
