Outside the Dream Syndicate is a 1973 album by United States avant-garde composer Tony Conrad in collaboration with German krautrock group Faust. Sorti entre le foutraque The Faust Tapes et le cultissime Faust IV, l'album est considéré comme une référence du mouvement Drone, et un solide album. Mais que nenni !
Tony Conrad was an experimental violinist in the 60's from the USA so it seems like the perfect match that he would hook up with FAUST and record his first solo album in 1972. He flew out to northern Germany and over 3 days at this farm they recorded "Outside The Dream Syndicate".
