Open, Coma is a double album by saxophonist Tim Berne and the Copenhagen Art Ensemble with Herb Robertson and Marc Ducret which was recorded in 2000 in Denmark and Sweden and released on Berne's Screwgun label.
25 nov. 2002 · But on Open Coma, he throws the gates open to the Copenhagen Art Ensemble, whose 11 members mix with Berne's long-time collaborators Marc Ducret and Herb Robertson. The big band does his music justice. The four pieces on this two-disc set are generous in length, stretching from 28 to 46 minutes.
Screwgun Records is a jazz record label founded by saxophonist Tim Berne in 1996. [1] Most releases on the label have been by Berne, though some have been by Berne's associates and bandmates. Steve Byram has designed and illustrated the artwork for many of the label's albums. [2]
