Strangely effective sequel to WHEN A STRANGER CALLS that gives Carol Kane a lot more to do this time around and Jill Schoelen’s mullet is practically a character itself. The opening “redux” of the original films amazingly terrifying first act isn’t as effective as the first film but the rest works, as if Fred Walton was finally able to realize his vision from the first film.
