Commentaires. Appleseed est la deuxième œuvre de Cyberpunk de Masamune Shirow à avoir été adaptée en OAV après Black Magic M-66 (sa première œuvre réalisée en 1983 sous forme de dôjinshi – manga amateur – puis rééditée de manière professionnelle en 1985).
