22 août 2023 · Director Jeff Celentano was drawn to this project after a chance meeting with Rickey Hill. The script and Rickey's compelling underdog story inspired Celentano to take on the film. Jesse Berry, who plays the young Rickey, brought a genuine innocence and naivety to his role that resonated with both Celentano and Dennis Quaid.
