Synopsis. Frank Serpico is an idealistic New York City cop who refuses to take bribes, unlike the rest of the force. Al Pacino is on blistering form as Frank Serpico, the New York detective who made a one-man stand against corruption in the police force. His ideals quickly reduce him to an outsider before turning him into the NYPD's enemy number one.
