The Italian duo, comprised of producer/ guitarist/ DJ Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo (what a name!) and sample-mixer Tommy Tea, first stormed onto the electro dance scene in 2008, with Rifo's EP 'Cornelius' making hard-hitting, ear-piercing waves in the charts.
The Bloody Beetroots is an Italian electronic dance music project established in late 2006 by Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo (production, guitar, keyboards, DJ) and Tommy Tea (DJ, mixing). In 2012 Tommy Tea left the band, and since then The Bloody Beetroots became a solo project of Bob Rifo.
7 juin 2019 · The Bloody Beetroots has been the musical moniker of Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo (AKA Simone Congo) since 2006. Early single Warp 1.9, which featured Steve Aoki, was a noughties EDM staple, and recently got a 10th anniversary reissue. The Beetroots’ new single, Fkn Face, was released last week, serving as a prelude to their forthcoming Heavy EP.
