Lloyd Millard Bentsen ( Mission (Texas), 11 februari 1921 - Houston, 23 mei 2006) was een Amerikaans Democratisch politicus . Hij studeerde rechten aan de Universiteit van Texas en diende als gevechtspiloot in het Amerikaanse leger tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Lloyd Bentsen. Lloyd Bentsen (February 11, 1921 — May 23, 2006) was a Senator from Texas from 1971 to 1993 and was the United States Secretary of the Treasury under the Clinton administration from 1993 to 1994. He was a congressman from Texas from 1948 to 1955. He was also chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance from 1987 to 1993.

Lloyd Millard Bentsen Jr. (February 11, 1921 – May 23, 2006) was an American politician who was a four-term United States Senator (1971–1993) from Texas and the Democratic Party nominee for vice president in 1988 on the Michael Dukakis ticket. He also served as the 69th United States Secretary of the Treasury under President Bill Clinton.
