  7. Terrible. It's actually hard to imagine this is co-written by Jonathan Coe, adapting his own novel, as he's an author I greatly admire. I haven't read 'The Dwarves of Death' (in making the journey from book to screen, Coe's source material had a title change to the rather unmemorable 'Five Seconds to Spare') but I'll wager it's a damn sight better than this film.
